It’s a bit of a bummer that fans will have to wait until 2013 to enjoy a more action-oriented XCOM title. But there’s still XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Firaxis’ strategy-flavored edition to the serise.
The shooter update of the game looked promising, and Firaxis claims it won’t be just porting a console version of Enemy Unknown onto PC — which is always good news. But if you want a more blasting-centric experience, well, you’re going to have to make do with something else, like any of the 1 million shooters on the market, in the meantime.
